A Joyous not so silent spring!

Remember last spring and my happiness about the tadpoles we were nurturing in the side pond? Well, after a several month long primal soup soak I never saw any of the tadpoles again... I assumed they had been eaten or something as there was no sign of any tiny frogs all summer! It was astonishing as one day we looked and there was not a single tadpole... so this week Peter was foooling around in the office and heard some strange bird chirps... the sound continued to escalate until he couldn't stand it and had to see what kind of bird it was. He looked and looked and finally realized it was coming from the pond... and lo and behold there were at least a dozen frogs in the pond! I am so happy and I find it so amazing that they made it, although of corse I worry it is too early for them to be awake from their winter hibernation, after all it is only February! This spring is very early ,all the daffodils are in bloom already as is the plum at the bottom of the drivewayand I noticed the redbuds are starting also! I must stop now as Lola is biting my nose while I type! We are putting up her first pictures this week! Bye for now!
