Well; thats over! We survived the 900 mile trip , and the cake actually made it! I had modelled two fish with googlie eyes and big kissy lips for the topper and made a ton of white chocolate coral and seashells! It was too cute! I hope they liked it! The wedding really was the prettiest one I have ever seen, all the bridesmaids were so beautiful, and you know how unusual that is! Usually the whispered comments as they proceed up the aisle is about dog shows, but not this one!The weather couldn't have been more perfect and the Jupiter beach resort did an outstanding job of juggling the several weddings that took place that day!Lindz had actually thought of every little detail( I do not think she gets that from me) and had everything there to be set up! Yards of sheer fabric for the dance floor, a huge amount of lanterns filled with LED lights that were twinkling all night, and fabulous orchids and tropicana roses with floating candles( she does get that from me). It was quite astonishing to realize how all the girls had grown up and were more like friends than the little ones we used to know from 20 years ago. Scott, the groom was unbelievable , he made that fairly average room look like a movie set!We had an incredible time and danced the night away( Peter even danced, the first time in 26 years, it must have been all those beautiful young women out there)And had a great trip overall! Even better was how well my staff took care of the inn, maybe I'm not as irreplaceable as I think I am...Only bummer, South Carolina and we got a ticket for speeding. They must be needing cash as they were pulling them over by Ridgeland right and left.I tried to bat my eyelashes but the bags got in the way!HaHa..It is good to be back though and now I am able to concentrate completely on the gardens. I am glad we do not do big weddings here, It was sooo much work...Now I can eat anything I want to as I do not have to worry about pictures anymore(at least for a little while)so ate 1/2 a choclate peanut butter cake last night! I think I'm gonna die!But it was sooo good....Now they are in Costa rica for the honeymoon, I know they are having a wonderful time. It just went by so fast.We are looking foward to having such a talented son-in-law, maybe I can get him up here for Halloween this year....It could be a frightfully good time!
